what the fuck..?

"why the hell does trsi release a trackmo (no-dos-basis) as lha-archive and
not as usual dms-package" you may ask... correct! the explaination is
quite simple; due a failure of the disk masher (just ask eg. blackhawk or
flake; they know what i am talking about... the dms-routine is full of
bugs) there appears a checksum error while un-packing the second disk
(which makes it impossible to un-dms it in a correct way). be sure that
there are eg. no error tracks on disk! it is just one of those lousy
pack-error of the dms! so we had to archive the 2nd disk with another
full-disk-comprimizer... zoom!

no panic, zoom was (wisely) included in the 2nd lha-archive due the fact
that it is not very popular (ever seen a file like kick-ass.zom?). you
simply have to decrunch the 1st disk with dms and the second one with zoom
(as i already said; included in the trsi-at2.lha file).

because of this problem which made the spreading of artifice via modem
nearly impossible (please nuke the old versions trsi-ar1.dms & trsi-ar2.dms
because they do not work; especially the 2nd disk) we decided to release a
final version of the trsi artifice trackmo. new features: two different
pictures and an optimized voxelspace routine. sorry for that but it was
not our fault. check it our by yourself if you do not believe us; compress
the 2nd disk and try to de-compress it. you will not be successfull!

btw, you are now able to compress the 2nd disk with dms (the final release
version), but only with crunchmode heavy1! due the fact that a lot of
boards are using a special dms-checher which repacks archives (with heavy2)
crunched with heavy1, there is no other possibility for us than releasing
this trackmo as lha archives.grab the following files because it is the
real release!

the original trackmo was released at the coma-party (woc 1994) and was ment
to be our contribution at the demo competition... lateron the competition
was cancelled due socalled `financial problems` (how lame) but this demo
was definietely the best, even if there was no possibility to show it at
the party screen! consider this as winner demo! all in all the party was
just a bad joke and the competition-organisation was a mess!
